| Beschreibung:This course looks at English syntax from a linguistic point of view, discussing various aspects concerning, for instance, syntactic categories, tense, aspect, modality, clause and phrase structure. Futhermore, we will discuss some theoretical aspects of English syntax and syntactic theories. This seminar is designed for 4LP students only. Students who need to complete 2LP for the V2 module may register for the "Language Variation and Change" lecture. Only under certain circumstances, such as a particular interest in the topic or a provable scheduling conflict, you may approach me about completing this class for 2LP. |
