Inhalt:
Digitale Höhen-Modelle (Definition, ableitbare Produkte, Repräsentationsformen), Interpolationsverfahren (Exakte und approximierende Methoden, Schwerpunkt: Kriging), Rasterdaten-Strukturen (chain codes, Run Length Encoding, Ordnungsstrukturen, Quadtree, R-Tree) und Map Algebra.
Voraussetzungen:
Besuch der Vorlesung „Grundlagen Geographischer Informationssysteme“ sowie des Seminars Praxis GIS I
