Beschreibung

The Study project will work on a hot topic, that had found a lot of interest in the media recently. That is, firstly the necessity of an implementation of moral decision in car driving systems. Secondly, the implementation and philosophical context of moral decisions of humans in the interaction of car driving systems. And finally the discussion of relevant factors that need to be considered to understand moral decision, and their expected outcome by the society, car manufacturer and the individual driving a car. The project will combine a experiments in virtual reality with recording of physiological parameters, such as pupil dilation and skin resistance. Moreover EEG will be recorded to understand the impact of moral decisions on underlying cognitive processes. Both will be implemented under the philosophical umbrella of the project.
