Beschreibung

This course offers an introduction to mathematical foundations of Data Science. After a brief introduction to "data", it covers fundamental mathematical concepts (e.g. calculus, linear algebra) and selected topics related to data analysis (e.g. regression, clustering data, dimensionality reduction). The main objective is to provide concepts of Data Science in an example-oriented way and to create a sound basis for further study of the discipline.
